Job summary

Phoenix-Logistics,-LL seeks a Subject Matter Expert to provide engineering SME support for an advanced threat modeling and simulation program. You will advise on technical subsystem characteristics and simulated performance across multiple airframe components and related systems.

Responsibilities include aiding integration and testing of subsystem models, evaluating surrogate models, and ensuring V&V results align with government data. Security clearance is required or expected.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or engineering degree, or equivalent, plus 8 years of experience in the subject field.
• Bachelor of Science or engineering degree, or equivalent, plus 12 years of experience in the subject field.
• Or, in lieu of a degree, 20 years of relevant operational or directly related experience in the subject area.
• Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance desired. Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred: Prior U.S. Air Force military aviation experience (e.g., fighter/attack pilot, weapons officer, intelligence, or related aircrew/operational background).

Responsibilities

• Provide functional SME on technical characteristics and simulated performance of aircraft subsystems.
• Support integration and testing of updated aircraft subsystem models.
• Assist in evaluating surrogate models for fidelity to actual subsystems.
• Review test results for SM E accuracy against real-world subsystem performance and government data.
• Participate in DRB and coordinate resolution timelines for deficiencies.
• Validate simulated subsystem behavior for government briefings and demonstrations.
• Contribute to backlog grooming and kickoff meetings on subsystem model development.
