Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA, seeks a Senior Structural Aircraft Technician to lead repairs and overhauls of aircraft structures in an MRO environment.

The role requires interpreting SRM/AMM data, guiding technicians, ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and delivering first-time quality and on-time delivery. Six years in related experience; A&P/FCC/NCATT preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT cert preferred.
• Able to read & interpret blueprints, eng docs, CMP data, CBs and ASCs.
• Proficient in operation of all tools & equipment in dept.
• Basic understanding of shop math.
• 6 years experience in sheetmetal and/or hydraulic overhaul or related exp.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of advanced skills, procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment for area of specialization.
• Perform, instruct, and oversee repair of mech and elect assemblies and subassemblies per blueprints and maintenance data.
• Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests.
• Inspect detail parts using blueprints and manuals to ensure conformity.
• Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structure components.
