Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Component Repair Technician I for Structures in Savannah. This entry-level role supports maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures in an MRO environment under close supervision.

You will interpret technical data like SRM/AMM, perform basic drilling and fastener installation/removal, and assist with fabrication and corrosion tasks while adhering to quality and safety standards. Some travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess basic understanding of shop math.
• Sheetmetal fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge and experience with electrical theory and wiring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment.
• Perform repairs of mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies per blueprints and PMs.
• Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests.
• Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity with requirements.
• Maintain required paperwork per FAA Repair Station requirements.
• Keep a clean, orderly work area and comply with safety regulations.
