Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design and certify repair solutions for aircraft structures, working closely with static stress and fatigue teams to ensure airworthiness. You will use CATIA V5 and 3DExperience to create solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment on-site at the Wichita facility. Travel and collaboration with international teams are expected.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Engineering Technology with focus on structural design, materials, or system design.
• Preferred Bachelor in Engineering Technology, Physics, or Math.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality repair solutions for airframe structures within schedule.
• Review damage reports and develop repair strategies for airworthiness.
• Produce technical documents and drawings using Airbus software.
• Collaborate with Static Stress, FDT, and other departments to optimize repair solutions.
