Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States seeks a seasoned inspector to evaluate demonstrator and production aircraft for functional operation and conformance to standards. You will inspect complex systems and supervise nonstandard tasks, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process.

The role requires extensive flight ops/test experience and the ability to lead in a high-stakes environment with minimal supervision and clear guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold or eligible to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 8 years Flight Ops and/or Flight Test Experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect demonstrator and production aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications.
• Inspect the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft.
• Perform preflight and postflight inspections in accordance with standard procedures on flight-proven aircraft.
• Inspect any adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
