Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience on the C-130H/J variant aircraft.
• May be required to be licensed by FAA.
• CPR Qualification is a preference.
• Trained on proper use and wear of PPE.
• Trained on use of communication equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with chemical, solvent and fuel exposure symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Maintains repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and components of moderate difficulty.
• Repairs flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.
• Lead teams through more complex aircraft tasks when required.
• Contribute to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC) and ECOD preps.
• May specialize in sheet metal, electric work, avionics or other systems.
• May use HVLP spray gun and corrosion control tooling.
• Work may occur on or off aircraft as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
