Tyonek Native Corp in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic Lead to oversee C/KC-130T maintenance, inspections, and modifications. You will supervise teams, troubleshoot complex discrepancies, and ensure compliant maintenance documentation.

The role requires advanced maintenance experience and strong leadership in high-demand environments. Ideal candidates have experience with military airframes, strong knowledge of airframe systems, and the ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Advanced aircraft maintenance experience with demonstrated technical leadership responsibilities.
C/KC-130 or similar military aircraft maintenance experience strongly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical components, troubleshooting, repair procedures and maintenance practices.
Advanced working knowledge of airframe systems including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, and fuel systems.

Responsabilités

Lead maintenance teams in C/KC-130T aircraft maintenance, inspections, modifications, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
Supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance throughout maintenance activities.
Perform, supervise, and inspect duties of Aircraft Mechanic I–III within assigned qualifications.
Maintain and repair aircraft structures and mechanical systems to support aircraft availability and readiness.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical discrepancies using approved procedures and technical judgment.
Interpret technical data, orders, blueprints, and manuals to guide maintenance actions.
Provide guidance on component replacement and sheet metal modification as required.
Coordinate workload to meet maintenance and delivery schedules.
Ensure entries in logs and records comply with data standards and safety requirements.
