Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years on-the-job aircraft maintenance experience on KC/CK-130T or similar.
• Formal aviation avionics training preferred.
• FCC or FAA license desired but not required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics; knowledge of TOs/maintenance data.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, modification, removal, installation, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/avionics malfunctions using wiring diagrams and fault isolation procedures.
• Inspect, repair, modify, route, terminate and install aircraft wiring and harnesses.
• Conduct preflight, thru-flight, post-flight inspections and related maintenance under TOs and manuals.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering to support schedules and mission readiness.
• Maintain tool control, FOD prevention, ESD practices; document actions in maintenance records.
