Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Materials & Processes Engineer 5 for a 12-month contract in Savannah, GA. The role demands deep engineering expertise, MRB process liaison, and oversight of major projects.

Ideal candidates will have 13+ years in technical disciplines or 15+ years broadly, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, and preferred advanced degrees. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 13 years specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience; credit for related advanced degrees.
• Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for an entire engineering project of major complexity within established scope.
• Makes technical decisions and recommendations with important impact on extensive engineering activities.
• Applies advanced technical principles, theories and concepts based on broad expertise or unique specialized knowledge.
• Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas.
• Acts independently to determine improved methods and/or procedures to optimize technical product, cost and schedule requirements.
• Works under consultative direction; uses independent judgement to accomplish objectives.
• Develops standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
• Conceives and plans investigation of broad areas of importance for which engineering precedents are lacking in areas critical to the program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
