Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Materials and Processes Engineer in Savannah, GA. You will own major engineering projects, apply advanced M&P methodologies, and drive cost, schedule, and quality improvements across aircraft programs.

You will interact with Powerplant, Environmental Control, Structures, Electrical, and Mechanical teams and suppliers. The role requires extensive experience solving complex problems, independent decision-making, and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5–13+ years in a specific technical discipline or 10–15+ years across multiple disciplines.
• Experience solving complex engineering problems requiring innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and make authoritative technical decisions.
• Strong understanding of Materials and Processes Engineering and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for complete engineering projects of significant complexity within program scope.
• Make technical decisions and recommendations that influence broad activities.
• Apply advanced engineering principles using extensive technical expertise.
• Lead development of innovative principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Independently identify improved methods to optimize performance, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Plan and lead investigations into complex areas with no established precedents.
• Communicate technical requirements to suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review designs and workflows using SmarTeam and CATIA.
• Develop and support EAR-approved test plans and reports.
• Provide manufacturing liaison support including MRB integration.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives in Materials and Processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve critical technical challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
