Job summary

Comav is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician III in Victorville, CA. This role performs complex maintenance, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision to support heavy maintenance, storage, and reactivation projects.

The AMT III serves as a technical resource, mentoring junior technicians and ensuring compliance with approved data, FAA regulations, and company procedures. A high level of expertise is required in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an Aviation Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) preferred.
4-7 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with heavy maintenance, MRO, airline, military, or commercial aviation preferred.
Experience using approved technical data and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform complex aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, preservation, and servicing.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation of systems and components.
Support heavy maintenance checks, modification projects, and reactivation efforts.
Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, engineering authorizations, and regulatory requirements.
Train and mentor less experienced technicians and provide technical guidance.
