Job summary

ComAV Technical Services in Victorville, CA, seeks an Aircraft Structures Technician III to perform advanced structural repairs, major modifications, and precision fabrication under FAA and company standards. You’ll mentor junior techs and support heavy maintenance, storage, and reactivation programs.

The role requires a high school diploma (AMTS preferred) and 4–7 years in aircraft structures or sheet metal, with strong familiarity in SRM/EO data and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• AMTS or related technical education preferred.
• Extensive experience in structural repairs, heavy maintenance, and aircraft fabrication.
• Experience with SRM-based repairs and engineering drawings required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex structural repairs, modifications, fabrication, and restoration per approved data.
• Execute major repairs including skin replacement and frame/stringer work.
• Assess damage and determine repair schemes using SRM/EO and data.
• Interpret SRM, AMM, EO, blueprints, IPC, and drawings for repairs.
• Support heavy maintenance, modification programs, corrosion control, storage, and reactivation.
