Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Virginia Beach site to oversee flight schedules and maintenance operations, ensuring safe and compliant practices. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and problem solving with flexible scheduling and occasional weekend hours.

The supervisor will coordinate all aspects of operations, drive metrics, and report to the Site Supervisor, maintaining high standards of performance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 combined years of Aviation Operations Management experience in QA, ES&H, contracts, and/or Maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation QA management.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation ES&H management.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of flight schedule and operational oversight.
• Oversee maintenance operations, program quality, logistics, training, analysis, and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, DOD, state, and local regulations related to aircraft maintenance and environment.
• Implement strategies and metrics to track performance and address gaps.
• Attend to weekend coverage as needed.
