Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to advise the Superintendent on technical matters and lead a mission-focused maintenance effort.

You will manage resources, ensure qualified personnel perform tasks, and maintain safety and documentation standards. The role requires 5–8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain required qualification, certification, licensing, or security clearance.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Enforces adherence to technical data and management procedures.
  • Adjusts resources to meet production requirements.
  • Assigns supervisory coverage for each shift.
  • Manages the special certification roster (SCR).
  • Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.
  • Reviews and evaluates management and production effectiveness.
  • Analyzes personnel and equipment performance history using QA reports.
  • Initiates actions to meet workloads or correct deficiencies.
  • Participates in the maintenance planning cycle.
  • Ensures only qualified personnel perform maintenance with proper tools.
  • Ensures safety directives and occupational safety standards are followed.
  • Documents training requirements on records.
  • Minimizes foreign object damage and dropped objects.
  • Maintains MIS entries for maintenance actions.
  • Advises production supervisor of disruptive conditions.
  • Performs other position-related duties.
