Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Las Vegas to lead a team of technicians and deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs. You will supervise daily tasks, mentor staff, and coordinate multi-project work in a fast-paced hangar environment.

The role requires extensive aviation maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and strict adherence to FAA guidelines, with opportunities for ongoing training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with A&P license required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Ability to supervise multiple technicians and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs/tasks with good judgement and involve management when needed.
• Mentor and train technicians; supervise daily workload.
• Supervise project flow and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems; inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Communicate effectively in English and coordinate with customers.
