Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Crew Lead for Southern California corporate jet operations, covering Dassault, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Hawker, and Cessna fleets.

The candidate will supervise a crew of technicians, ensure FAA compliance, and coordinate maintenance activities to meet customer delivery deadlines. A&P license and California driver’s license are required along with a minimum of 10 years on corporate aircraft and 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Must meet FAA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of technicians (5–12) in aircraft maintenance.
• Evaluates salary, promotions, rewards and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures maintenance meets FAA regs and manufacturer guidance.
• Assigns work based on customer expectations and crew skills.
• Provides technical guidance on service bulletins and ADs.
• Pre-plans scopes, parts, and work orders with the general manager.
• Documents additional items/’squawks’ from customers or inspections.
• Monitors hours charged to optimize manpower and efficiency.
• Reviews daily time cards for accuracy and performance.
• Communicates issues to the general manager for client updates.
• Verifies work orders and invoices for accuracy before submission.
• Ensures adherence to the repair station manual and RTS functions.
• Conducts final walk-around to confirm cleanliness and readiness.
