  • Monitor and manage the budget for the Aircraft Base Maintenance department.
  • Participate in meetings and provide reports on departmental performance and goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the department and senior management, providing updates and recommendations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: A Supervisor of Aircraft Base Maintenance should have thorough knowledge of all aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures. Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with American Airlines or a similar airline.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of technicians and mechanics, providing clear instructions, setting goals, and ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Excellent Problem‑Solving Abilities: Ability to think critically and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly. Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge Of Safety And Regulatory Standards: Thorough understanding of FAA regulations and safety procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with the team, upper management, and other departments. Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
