Job summary

Gary Jet Center is seeking a qualified Chief Inspector 145/135 MXC based at KGYY. You will generate and maintain Repair Station QC manuals, inspect work by airframe and powerplant technicians, and oversee maintenance planning for 135 aircraft.

The role requires extensive experience in corporate aviation, A&P certification, and thorough knowledge of RSQCM/FAA standards. Responsibilities include audits, training, and ensuring airworthiness across assigned aircraft.

Qualifications

• Must possess an A&P license.
• Minimum 10 years in corporate aviation.
• Minimum 5 years inspection experience.
• Experience in FAA Part 145 and 135 environments.
• IA preferred; RII experience.
• GED or higher; associate degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections per RSQCM and quality control manuals.
• Ensure familiarity with FAA regulations and manufacturer procedures.
• Accept procured items that are approved or acceptable.
• Conduct preliminary inspections and document defects.
• Maintain inspection entries on work orders and forms.
• Provide training and maintenance control support.
• Review maintenance manuals and 135/Managed aircraft status.
