Job summary

GA Telesis in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Chief Quality Control Inspector to join our MRO quality team. You will lead quality monitoring, supervise inspectors, and ensure airworthiness per FAA data for repairs and alterations, reporting to the Director of Quality.

Requirements include 14 CFR Part 65 / A&P certification, strong inspection knowledge, and English proficiency. Eligibility is limited to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

• Must be certificated per 14 CFR Part 65 (A&P) is required.
• Experience with FAA FAR/IC data and airworthiness processes desirable.
• Strong knowledge of inspection methods and tools used to determine airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain record entries per article § 43.9 or § 43.11.
• Supervise inspection functions and guide secondary inspectors.
• Ensure maintenance/alterations meet FAA data and airworthiness standards.
• Develop and manage processes to ensure airworthiness of approved articles.
• Perform preliminary inspections, functional testing, in-process and final inspections as required.
• Examine contracted materials to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with OEM-recommended tools and test apparatus.
• Maintain compliance with ADs, FARs and manufacturer bulletins.
• Conduct visual inspections to determine extent of damage before maintenance.
