Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Inspector IV for a 12‑month contract to hire in Hagerstown, MD. The role conducts detailed inspections of aircraft, systems, and components to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections, reviewing maintenance records, identifying non-conformances, and approving return to service. FAA A&P certification required; IA preferred, with strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active FAA A&P certification and airframe/powerplant ratings.
• 10+ years of aircraft inspection, maintenance, or quality assurance experience.
• Proficient reading of aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience performing inspections and audits in an aviation environment with strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft, systems, components, and related equipment.
• Ensure aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection activities comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards.
• Review maintenance records, inspection documentation, work orders, and technical data for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify adherence to established quality control procedures and airworthiness requirements.
• Interpret and utilize aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Identify non-conformances, document findings, and support corrective action initiatives.
