Job summary

North State Aviation seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector to ensure airworthiness per FARs and repair station guidelines. You will conduct receiving, in-process and final inspections on Boeing transport category aircraft, verify paperwork, and approve incoming materials from vendors.

Qualified inspectors may perform RII inspections and other related duties in a dynamic maintenance environment. Applicants must hold A&P certification, complete the 737 GenFam course, and have 5+ years of

Qualifications

• A&P certification required.
• 737 GenFam course on transport category aircraft and Airbus.
• 5 or more years documented/verifiable maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components and accessories.
• Conduct inspections per job cards, manuals, ADs and work package requirements.
• Perform receiving inspection of components, materials, tooling, and hardware per manual and FARs.
• Perform RII inspections (if qualified) per approved procedures.
• Review paperwork to ensure FAR compliance.
• Inspect and approve final acceptance of incoming material from contracted vendors.
• Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspections and record results.
• Ensure adherence to all RII inspection items and procedures.
• Perform other duties as inspector when not inspecting, read and apply Repair Station and QC Manuals.
• Utilize inspection equipment and tools; read diagrams and blueprints.
