Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to lead aircraft subsystem projects from concept through sustainment. You will develop hydraulic and electrical schematics, perform power and hydraulic analyses, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure airworthiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline with 8+ years’ related experience, or Master/PhD with fewer years.
Experience leading system development from concept to sustainment (cradle-to-grave).
Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to present technical briefings to senior executives.
U.S. Government Secret clearance and SAP clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and/or contribute to aircraft subsystem development across hydraulic and electrical domains.
Create hydraulic and electrical schematics for functional systems.
Perform power generation, distribution, and circuit protection analyses.
Coordinate with subcontractors and act as technical POC for suppliers.
Develop and execute system-level test plans and verification activities.
Deliver presentations to senior leadership.
