Job summary

Commercial Jet Services in Miami, FL is seeking an Aircraft Composite Technician III who has 5+ years of experience performing aircraft-related composite repairs on airframes currently in work.

Under supervision, you will lay-up, cut, bag, autoclave, trim, and repair components, read blueprints and work orders, maintain logs, and ensure airworthy workmanship in accordance with FAA and data.

Candidates must have High School Diploma or GED; FAA Airframe License preferred and own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; FAA Airframe License preferred.
• 5+ years of aircraft-related composite repair experience on airframe types in work at Commercial Jet Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite part manufacturing: lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and repairs.
• Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet specifications in a team environment.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to sequence operations.
• Check all work and ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection.
• Maintain and use logs/records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI).
• Perform maintenance tasks per Federal Aviation Regulations and data.
• Record task card times and materials accurately with signatures/initials.
• Adhere to CJ procedures and safety policies.
• Proactively report difficulties, safety hazards, and tool issues.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Proven ability to work alone and in a team.
