Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in composites manufacturing or repair in aerospace/defense or similar industries.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement/tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite operations: hand lay-up (pre-preg and wet), vacuum bagging, trimming, and finishing.
• Prepare molds and tools by cleaning, applying release agents, and setting up materials.
• Assist with curing processes in accordance with work instructions.
• Trim and finish composite parts to engineering specifications.
• Perform standard composite repairs per procedures and escalate complex issues.
• Document work and maintain quality records.
• Read and interpret work instructions and process documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols handling resins, prepregs, solvents.
