Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Senior Air Systems Analyst with recent experience in emerging aircraft and air-launched weapon systems. The role focuses on DoW/ECI programs, digital engineering, and engagement from DoW-level stakeholders to programs and services building the next generation of aircraft and air-launched weapons.

Responsibilities include independent program status analyses, risk assessment, and collaboration across DoW and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Engineer familiar with Government test centers and service systems development centers.
• Experience in conducting or assessing Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR).
• Experience with Critical Technical Parameters (CTP), TPM, and MOP/MOE.
• Experience in developing and/or reviewing SEP.
• Experience in developing and/or reviewing TEMP.
• Digital Engineering (DE) tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within a small team to understand DoW aircraft and air-launched weapon systems architectures and technologies.
• Provide independent analysis of program status, maturation and risk to priority programs.
• Collaborate across DoW on program plans, technical approaches, schedules and risk.
• Effectively communicate program status, issues and risks to leadership in writing and briefing.
• Evaluate technology and engineering capabilities central to aircraft and air-launched programs.
