Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Senior Air Quality Specialist to lead air quality projects from planning to completion. You will manage PSD/Title V permitting, modeling, and compliance tasks while growing client relationships and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Meteorology or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years in environmental consulting with marketing, project management, staff management and client satisfaction; business development skills; familiarity with local markets.
• Familiarity with air emission methodologies, construction and operating permits, with PSD, Title V, NSPS, MACT, and CAM programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• May require the ability to travel.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert with authority in an area of specialization.
• Plan and manage all aspects of air quality projects.
• Work on PSD, Title V and minor source permitting; air quality modeling; and compliance projects.
• Develop new clients and expand work with existing clients.
• Track financials and coordinate team effort to meet schedule.
• Serve as Project Manager or client manager and support marketing/contracting.
• Coordinate with Business/Accounting Manager and Department Manager for reviews.
