HDR is seeking a Senior Air Quality Specialist in Minnesota to lead air quality projects and client relationships. You will manage PSD, Title V and minor source permitting, perform air quality modeling, and ensure compliance while driving project success.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and business development within HDR’s environmental practice. A bachelor’s in environmental sciences or engineering and 10+ years of consulting experience are required; a master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Meteorology or closely related field.
• Familiarity with air emission methodologies and permitting programs (PSD, Title V, NSPS, MACT, CAM).
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience with marketing, project management, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert with authority in air quality to resolve complex problems.
• Plan and manage all aspects of air quality projects.
• Lead projects including PSD, Title V and minor source permitting; air quality modeling; and compliance tasks.
• Develop new clients and expand work with existing clients.
• Manage project financials and coordinate team efforts to meet schedules.
• Serve as Project Manager or client manager and support marketing and contract solidification.
• Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager and Department Manager for reviews.
