Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Air Quality Specialist in the United States to lead and manage air quality projects across PSD, Title V, and minor source permitting. You will serve as a technical expert, develop new clients, and coordinate deliverables with regulators and project teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or Meteorology, 10+ years in environmental consulting, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Meteorology or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of environmental consulting experience with marketing, project management, staff management and client satisfaction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in air quality that resolves complex problems.
• Plan and manage all aspects of air quality projects.
• Work on PSD, Title V and minor source permitting; air quality modeling; and compliance projects.
• Develop new clients and expand work with existing clients.
• Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate with the team to meet schedules.
• Serve as Project Manager or client manager and contribute to marketing and contract documents as needed.
• Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager and Department Manager for project reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
