Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Air Quality Specialist to lead and manage air quality projects, including PSD/Title V permitting and modeling, with a strong focus on client development and regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, project planning, and coordination with finance and management to ensure project success. Travel may be required as part of client engagement and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Meteorology or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in environmental consulting with a track record in marketing, project management, staff management and client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with air emission methodologies, construction and operating permits, with PSD, Title V, NSPS, MACT, and CAM programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to travel and ability to lead in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity.
• Plan and manage all aspects of air quality projects.
• Work on projects including PSD, Title V and minor source permitting; air quality modeling; and compliance assistance projects.
• Develop new clients and expand work with existing clients.
• Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate the work to meet schedule constraints.
• Serve as Project Manager or client manager and contribute to marketing and contract solidification.
