Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer - Air Lead for its La Porte, TX site. The role leads air compliance efforts, directing NSR, PSD, PBR, standard permits and Title V programs, with extensive interaction across Operations, Laboratory, Maintenance, Safety, and Management.

The incumbent reports to the Environmental Manager and represents the company in interactions with EPA, TCEQ, and other agencies, driving continuous improvement and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering/technical discipline.
• 10+ years plant experience in regulatory compliance and environmental permitting.
• 5-7 years experience managing air programs in a petrochemical or refinery facility.
• Multi-media environmental experience, with air permitting applications.
• Ability to interpret SHE regulations and apply to site operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead air regulatory compliance activities for the BMC site.
• Interact with EPA, TCEQ and other environmental agencies.
• Develop and maintain site SHE management system (SMS).
• Establish environmental performance indicators and targets.
• Collaborate with CBW SHE professionals to ensure compliance.
