Job summary

INEOS Oxide in League City, TX is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to provide regulatory expertise, coaching and hands-on support to drive environmental compliance across the site. The role delivers training, handles air permitting, reporting and agency interface, and leads project teams to ensure permits and schedules meet regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers and liaise with state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering; 7+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Texas air state permitting and federal environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead audits and interface with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory expertise and coaching to drive site environmental compliance.
• Deliver air permitting, agency interface, and regulatory reporting responsibilities.
• Mentor engineers and lead environmental projects across Plaquemine and Bayport facilities.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
