Job summary

PBF Energy Inc. Toledo Refinery is seeking a Sr. Environmental Engineer to lead air regulatory compliance and permitting initiatives. You will work with plant teams to ensure MACT and Title V compliance, emissions monitoring, and environmental reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with regulators and internal stakeholders to sustain strong environmental performance and continuous improvement in air programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal air regulations (PSD/NSR, CAA, NESHAP, MACT).
• BS in chemical/environmental engineering required; 8+ years in relevant roles preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite required; Ohio EPA/CDX familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refinery air permitting, compliance, and MACT reporting.
• Coordinate emissions monitoring and source testing programs (CEMS, Stack/RATA).
• Develop and implement compliance programs for new regulations.
• Serve as primary point of contact with regulatory agencies on air matters.
• Collaborate with refinery teams and external stakeholders on environmental initiatives.
• Review procedures, assist in safety audits, and provide training as needed.
