Job summary

SarelaTech is seeking a Senior AIOps Engineer to lead design, deployment, and operation of AIOps solutions for DoW networks and systems. You will orchestrate Splunk, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds integrations, enable closed-loop incident response, and ensure high availability of mission-critical infrastructure.

You will drive ML development with Splunk MLTK, implement secure data pipelines, and coordinate with CSSP for cyber defense integration.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
• United States citizenship required.
• 7+ years of Splunk Enterprise experience with architecture and SPL.
• 3+ years of AIOps with integration to ITSM (ServiceNow).
• Proven ML model development and tuning within Splunk MLTK.
• Advanced scripting for custom searches and API integrations (Python).
• Leadership experience coordinating multiple teams within DoD environments.
• Operational experience in a DoW/DoD NOC/SOC setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AIOps platform initiative as technical liaison with Network Engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams.
• Architect closed-loop remediation workflows by integrating Splunk ITSI with ServiceNow modules.
• Maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified and classified enclaves for real-time visibility.
• Integrate telemetry from SolarWinds with server/app logs for enterprise health view.
• Deploy ML models via Splunk MLTK to identify anomalies and threats.
• Engineer secure data ingestion pipelines from cross-domain solutions and tactical devices.
• Use ITSI to correlate events and reduce noise for mission-critical alerts.
• Collaborate with CSSP to feed AIOps insights into cyber defense operations.
• Maintain compliance with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6; document architecture and traceability.
• Stay aligned with DoD/federal mission systems and evolving AIOps capabilities.
