Job summary

FSS Technologies in Michigan is seeking a Construction Billing Supervisor to own the AIA billing cycle from award to retainage release. You will oversee three associates, set standards, coach the team, and ensure timely, accurate billings while coordinating with project managers and operations leadership.

The role combines hands-on billing with leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to scale billing as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of construction billing experience and hands-on preparation of AIA pay applications.
• Working knowledge of schedules of values, percentage of completion, and retainage.
• Experience with lien waivers and construction lien notice requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit all AIA billing documents for projects.
• Build and maintain schedule of values in coordination with project management.
• Directly supervise a team of three and ensure billing deadlines are met.
• Oversee job setup in NetSuite and maintain data integrity across systems.
