Job summary

Cambium Learning Group seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead high-impact AI initiatives. You will partner with the AI Engineering Lead to shape the AI roadmap, evaluate new AI techniques, and oversee workload across the team. Strong data validation and SQL skills are required.

You will coordinate software deployments, manage cross-team dependencies, and translate complex concepts for executives. Experience with AI-native tools and agile processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, or related technical field; 7+ years PM experience (or Master's with 5+ years).
• Strong AI/ML concepts and data-pipeline knowledge.
• Experience with SQL and interpreting backend components.
• Familiarity with AI-native tooling to accelerate delivery tracking.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage AI roadmap with AI Engineering Lead and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
• Identify AI opportunities to optimize systems and features.
• Triag e complex AI systems and validate data integrity across pipelines.
• Coordinate deployments and model release cycles with DevOps and engineering teams.
• Drive Jira/Confluence-based backlog, sprints, and status reporting.
• Translate complex findings for non-technical leadership.
• Lead multi-team AI initiatives and manage dependencies across teams.
• Advise on agile management tailored to AI development.
