Job summary

Striveworks is building trusted AI systems for real-world use cases and seeks a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to architecture and coding in Go and Python. You will work on event-driven, microservices infrastructure, with a focus on delivering reliable AI models and algorithms.

The role supports fully remote work or hybrid/on-site in northwest Austin, TX. Candidates should have broad cloud experience and leadership capabilities, with a strong product mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or similar experience.
• 6–8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Excellence in Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with DevOps: CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proven cloud architecture experience: commercial cloud, OpenStack.
• Experience designing performant, scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Lead core development direction with a product mindset.
• Write quality Go and Python code for real-world AI systems.
• Contribute to architecture decisions: microservices, event-driven design, hexagonal patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams on requirements and delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews.
