Striveworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Secret Clearance Eligible) in the United States. You will write high‑quality Go and Python, shape architecture, and contribute across our cloud‑native, hexagonal, microservices ecosystem. Remote or hybrid work options with travel ~10% are available.

You’ll join a team delivering trusted AI systems, partnering with product teams, and mentoring engineers while pursuing security‑clearance‑driven goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Excellence in Go, C++ (17+), Java (11+), C# (9+), or Rust.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with DevOps: CI/CD tools, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with cloud architecture: commercial cloud, OpenStack.
• Design and development of performant, scalable services.
• Database design: relational and non-relational.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead discussions.
• Ability to lead the software development life cycle from requirements to deployment.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, patterns, docs, and Agile.
