9amHealth seeks a Senior Product Engineer to help build AI-native systems in a fast-moving healthcare tech startup. You will design backend and frontend components with LLMs, shape product strategy with cross-functional teams, and drive scalable, secure platforms for chronic disease management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong knowledge of AWS, Java, TypeScript
• Strong experience in building with LLMs in production
• Clear enthusiasm for the capabilities of AI and agentic systems
• Strong system design skills and ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate backend and fullstack systems with LLMs, tools, and agents
• Create agentic workflows that solve real product and operational problems
• Integrate LLMs safely into production systems with observability, cost control, and reliability
