Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Sr AI Product Strategist in Irving, TX to serve as the enterprise’s strategic advisor on emerging AI and automation technologies.

You will translate trends, vendor developments, and industry shifts into actionable insights for tool evaluation, roadmaps, and investment decisions, partnering with business and governance leaders to shape future opportunities and risks. Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7+ years in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, management consulting or product strategy.
• Experience translating tech trends into strategic, decision-ready recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of AI and automation ecosystems including generative AI and RPA.
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, technology evaluations, or investment assessments.
• Ability to develop executive-level strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, roadmaps, portfolio management, or investment prioritization.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and regulatory considerations.
• Experience with analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester) preferred.
• Background in consulting, digital transformation or enterprise strategy preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct horizon scanning across AI and automation landscapes and vendor roadmaps.
• Translate market intelligence into concise, actionable recommendations for AI strategy and roadmaps.
• Evaluate AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and automation capabilities against enterprise needs.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations on technology adoption, pilots, and investments.
• Maintain enterprise AI competitive intelligence by monitoring industry trends and analyst insights.
• Collaborate with business and product leaders to balance current delivery with future capabilities.
• Support portfolio planning via value assessments and risk analyses.
• Identify governance, regulatory, and market trends impacting AI strategy.
• Create executive briefings and presentations communicating complex tech concepts clearly.
• Guide senior leaders with forward-looking AI and digital transformation perspectives.
