Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior data analytics professional to develop automated analytics products and deploy advanced ML and AI solutions across multiple domains. You will lead predictive analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI initiatives, translating complex analyses into actionable insights for clinical, operational, and economic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in ML, NLP, generative AI.
• Experience with LLM-based workflows and AI tooling.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of ML, generative AI, agentic AI, NLP, and statistical models across data types.
• Design agentic AI workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, data, APIs, tools, and business rules.
• Build and deploy scalable data science products and reusable analytic assets across projects and clients.
• Apply end-to-end data science workflows: discovery, prep, features, modeling, validation, and insight delivery.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation solutions and evaluation frameworks for AI performance and safety.
• Make key analytical decisions and maintain alignment with business objectives.
• Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor data scientists.
• Partner with engineering to deploy and monitor ML/AI solutions in production.
• Implement responsible AI and model governance with explainability and bias assessment.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate analytics into products and processes.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech to advance capabilities.
