Job summary

Dell Technologies in Santa Clara, California is seeking a Technical Staff-Storage Architect to lead AI infrastructure storage design and data management for large-scale deployments. You will shape architectures across scale-out file, object, and parallel filesystem technologies and work closely with customers and engineering to implement high-performance solutions.

You will partner with the Engineering Technologist Team to develop configurations, BOMs, and SKUs, explore new fabrics and storage

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in storage architecture, data platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.
Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, training/inference patterns, data analytics, Vector DB, KV Cache and enterprise cluster deployments.

Responsibilities

Define architectures for AI-optimized storage and data management across scale-out file, object, and parallel filesystem technologies.
Influence end-to-end AI infrastructure stacks—from software frameworks through compute, storage, networking, data security, and datacenter deployment.
Develop and propose configurations, BOMs, and SKUs based on customer needs in collaboration with Engineering and partners.
Lead investigations of new fabric technologies and storage platforms to support large-scale AI deployments; act as escalation point for complex challenges.
Generate intellectual property and influence multi-year technology and product roadmaps.
