Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking a Senior AI Storage Infrastructure Engineer to build the critical data-delivery fabric of our AI-native NeoCloud. You will architect high-performance storage solutions powering AI model training and inference, spanning NVMe caching, parallel file systems, and kernel-level I/O with Kubernetes orchestration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in distributed storage systems and high-performance file systems.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes CSI, including building or extending volume plugins and storage operators.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux kernel-level I/O and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RDMA/InfiniBand/RoCE and interaction with storage subsystems.

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain CSI drivers for high-performance parallel file systems.
• Architect GPUDirect Storage integrations for DMA between NVMe and GPU memory.
• Develop and manage local NVMe caching for large model weights and datasets.
• Optimize IOPS, throughput, and latency across containerized storage stack.
• Collaborate with GPU Systems & Fabric team to optimize for RDMA and high-speed interconnects.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for storage performance and reliability.
• Define storage policies, quotas, and multi-tenancy in Kubernetes for customer workloads.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews to ensure reliability and performance.
