Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior AI Sales Specialist in San Francisco, CA, a quota-carrying overlay role aligned with our Core AE team. You will prospect, demo, and close deals, leveraging AI portfolio value to drive adoption across the AMER region in a hybrid setup.

You will own AI sales goals, collaborate with the core team, and support AI POC’s while guiding customers through usage requirements, forecasting automation, and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven quota-carrying sales experience.
• Experience with Conversational AI or CX space.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales quotas and work to meet/exceed targets in the Zendesk territory.
• Collaborate with Core Sales to grow revenue from existing Zendesk accounts and new business.
• Build relationships, understand customer challenges, and map AI portfolio value to customer goals.
• Lead and support AI POC’s; provide product understanding and value proof points for AI adoption.
• Identify expansion/cross-sell opportunities with AI Success team and optimize AR potential.
