Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with enterprise and commercial accounts. You will lead technical discovery, design solutions, and demonstrate Zendesk AI-powered capabilities through POCs and tailored demos.

You will architect agentic AI workflows, validate integrations, and ensure security/compliance while collaborating with global teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years in technical presales are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in technical presales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or application development.
• Proficiency with modern web technologies (JavaScript, Python, Node.js), HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and webhooks.
• Practical understanding of AI applications, LLM features, prompt engineering, and automated workflows.
• Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, CX/ES domains, contact center tech, or IT support ticketing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical validation phase of the sales cycle including RFPs and integration topologies.
• Create impactful POCs and custom demos to de-risk buying decisions.
• Build and showcase agentic AI-driven workflows using Zendesk AI features.
• Leverage accelerators, API templates, and middleware to deliver complex architectures.
