Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking a Lead AI Solutions Systems Engineer to drive technical strategy for AI initiatives across multiple U.S. sites including Sunnyvale, CA.

You will translate business needs into rigorous ML/AI requirements, prototype PoCs, and shape robust no‑code agentic and automation architectures in collaboration with global teams. Requires a Master’s in AI/ML/CS and 10+ years in advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in AI, ML, CS or a closely related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
• Experience with SDLC, API contracts, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to translate complex business problems into production‑ready specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy for AI initiatives, assessing feasibility, data readiness and infrastructure viability.
• Prototype PoCs, define development sandboxes, and co-author code with partners to accelerate industrialization.
• Govern platform evolution, align with enterprise architectures and data governance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
