Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Solutions Systems Engineer to direct technical AI initiatives across North America, including Herndon, VA and other US sites.

You will architect production-grade AI systems, translate business problems into data specs, and work with global teams to align on standards and governance. The role requires a Master’s in AI/ML or related field and 10+ years of hands-on experience with Generative/Agentic AI systems, plus strong software engineering and cloud

Qualifications

• Master's degree in AI (ML / Data Science), Computer Science, or a highly quantitative field.
• 10+ years of hands-on, production-grade AI/analytics experience and at least one Generative/Agentic AI system
• Experience across Corporate and Operations domains in a large global enterprise
• Strong leadership in designing production-ready architectures and microservices

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and solution design for AI initiatives.
• Prototype PoCs and co-author code to accelerate industrialization.
• Collaborate with European teams to align with global enterprise standards.
• Translate business problems into technical specifications and data requirements.
