Job summary

Total Performance Consulting seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer who operates at the crossroads of engineering, product, marketing, and business to design AI-powered production systems.

You will work directly with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions and own end-to-end delivery in a highly autonomous environment, including collaboration with consumer marketing to improve acquisition, engagement, and personalization.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend and basic frontend capability.
• Claude Code expertise with certification preferred.
• Experience deploying AI-powered apps or automation into production.
• LLM APIs proficiency across models; Claude as primary platform.
• Software architecture experience; REST APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Git.
• Ability to translate marketing objectives into technical solutions and work with non‑technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and automation systems.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Interpret product requirements and define the technical approach independently.
• Own architecture decisions across systems, data, and AI components.
• Develop data pipelines and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Deploy and maintain production systems using cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prototype rapidly, gather feedback, and iterate toward production-ready implementations.
• Work closely with consumer marketing teams to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and personalization.
