Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Applied AI Solutions Architect for the Agentic WorkSpaces program in Chicago. You will embed with customers to design, test, and productionize agentic AI solutions on WorkSpaces, guiding model selection, prompt and tool configuration, and data readiness.

You will pair-program with customer engineers, build serverless integrations, expose APIs via MCP/A2A patterns, and help production rollouts at scale with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology experience in software, cloud, or infrastructure.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, or similar languages; hands-on agentic AI patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP and A2A for tool integration and multi-agent workflows.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or similar foundation models.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to translate requirements into implementation plans.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Agentic WorkSpaces, including AI agent creation and prompt engineering.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and scripting.
• Architect secure access patterns to data systems to power AI agent tool use and RAG.
• Work with customers to deploy WorkSpaces platforms for agentic AI experiences.
