Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an Applied AI Solutions Architect to accelerate adoption of agentic AI capabilities on WorkSpaces. The role embeds with customers to prepare production deployments, focusing on model selection, prompt configuration, and tool integration using MCP and A2A.

You will co-build AI solutions with customer engineers, write code, and pair-program to move from proof-of-concept to production. Willingness to travel 25–40% for on-site engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for tool integration and/or A2A for multi-agent communication.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or equivalent foundation model platforms.
• Understanding of VDI and DaaS architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customer teams to understand requirements and desktop infrastructure.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Agentic WorkSpaces, including AI agent creation and prompt engineering.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and scripting (Python, Node.js).
• Architect secure access patterns to cloud data systems to power AI agent tool use and RAG.
• Deploy WorkSpaces as the delivery platform for agentic AI experiences and validate production readiness.
