Job Summary/Purpose

The Solution Architect (AI) will design comprehensive technical solutions leveraging generative AI, machine learning, data engineering, and full-stack development to address complex business challenges. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, working with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and meet business needs. The architect will develop solution patterns, reference architectures, and best practices for AI applications, focusing on generative AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), data architecture, and enterprise ML operations.

This position is key in transforming business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective AI products that automate work processes and deliver measurable business value.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• AI Solution Design: Create comprehensive designs for generative AI applications, ML systems, and full-stack products aligning with enterprise standards.
• Data Architecture Development: Design scalable data architectures supporting AI/ML initiatives, including data models, storage, and governance.
• Data Engineering Solutions: Architect data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and transformation workflows.
• Generative AI Expertise: Lead in implementing generative AI, LLMs, conversational AI, and content generation systems.
• Machine Learning Architecture: Design scalable ML architectures for training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Full Stack Integration: Develop reference architectures integrating AI and data services with front-end and back-end components.
• Technical Translation: Convert business requirements into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging AI and data platforms for organizational fit.
• Solution Governance: Ensure solutions adhere to architecture principles, security, and compliance.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop holistic solutions.
• Performance & Scalability: Architect solutions with performance, scalability, and resilience in mind.
• Cost Optimization: Balance technical excellence with cost efficiency.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create detailed architecture documentation.
• Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to teams.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related; advanced degrees in AI/ML preferred.

Experience: 4+ years for Solution Architect level with experience in data and software engineering; 8+ years for Sr Solution Architect with expertise in AI/ML and enterprise data solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep knowledge of generative AI, MLOps, data architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with data frameworks like Spark, Snowflake.
• Strong software development, API, and integration skills.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Certifications

Preferred: AWS Solution Architect, Data Engineering, AI/ML certifications, TOGAF.
